I love the west coast! I lived in San Francisco for 8 years but never photographed the coast until I moved to the mountains! The Lost Coast is an especially beautiful area; named for the fact that no major road goes through here thus most people never see it. In fact, the roads through this area can get down right primitive! I saw my first wild wolf while riding my motorcycle here. Monterey Bay Aquarium is a modern marvel not to be missed and the northern California coast is rugged & mostly uncrowded & beautiful.
