Right next door to Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Tetons are spectacular! These mountains make their own weather and in the summer you can expect rain showers just about every day, but then it clears up and is beautiful again. One of the most severe thunder storms I've ever experienced was here. You can 4 wheel on primitive roads right next to elk & bison along the Snake river. Very nice Camp sites are provided with pea gravel tent pads to drain water away.
