I take road trips with my wife to see the grand sites the west has to offer. One of my favorite places is the Alabama Hills just outside Lone Pine, CA. If you have never been there it is surely worth the trip. Just about every old western and Saturday Western Serial (Lone Ranger, Hop a Long Cassity, Whip Wilson, etc.) was filmed there.
